I spend a lot of my time in the Sam Noble Museum of Natural History. You might be asking why, and it is partly because I really enjoy that museum, but it is also because I work there! Yep, I am one of the faces you see upon arriving at the museum.
The museum is stunning. There are tons of really interesting and cool exhibits to see, especially those relating to Oklahoma. In addition to all of our amazing pieces and specimens, we have one heck of a space to entertain and throw special events inside.
I am fortunate to work closely with the events coordinator so I get to see a lot of what goes into everything with events. I see all the tables, chairs, miscellaneous décor, and logistical pieces needed to make every event successful. Also, being that we are a museum, we have a ton of special rules we have to follow to be able to host events in such a special place.

Fall is the greatest time to throw a dinner party. I know I talk about dinner parties a lot, but I really do love them. I am about to start my own supper club for friends and family once a month now that I have a much bigger space and one heck of a dinner table. I know a lot of people only think of Thanksgiving being the time to throw a dinner party in the autumn season but I strongly disagree.

I love summer. I love the long nights that seemingly never end and are filled with great conversation, yummy drinks, and good company. Everything feels right in the world if you know what I mean. Oh, and with a pool involved? Do not even get me started. There is something so wonderful about it all.
Anyways, I think this summer my main goal is to have a bunch of fun parties! They do not need to be anything too intense, I think just any event that brings people together is a great way to spend the summer. Here are my top three summer party ideas that I want to do this year!
Even with offices, venues, and other such places that maybe deal with bigger and more involved events, you can use some of these party themes.
Something else I love is definitely a good movie night—especially when outdoors. There is just something so magnificent about the warmth of the night, little lights, popcorn, blankets, and a good ol’ movie.

I love art. I have basically dedicated my life to the craft and the field in general. I just completed a MA in the History of Art at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London for example. I say this not to boast but moreover prove that I am an art girlie (as the kids would say, I can barely keep up nowadays).
So, that being said, I know a few things about throwing a small exhibition opening, planning one, and you know, making art. I do not think enough people in the world are throwing enough art shows and hosting openings. We often get so stuck in our mind in how art exhibitions and so forth “ought” to be and end up missing out on all sorts of fun. It does not take that much to really pull something great together. Okay, so I think every great art event needs some tables to ponder the art and take a sip of wine just like any sophisticated art critic would do. You know, like the movies.
